Ahnungsloser24 Oct 2016 08:39Hello dear forum,
the more I read, the more confused I become.
Here is my situation:
I wanted to have a shell construction built for about 100,000 € (euros).
The foundation slab will be an additional 15,000 € (euros).
I am estimating the land cost at 150,000 € (euros).
I plan to do all the interior work myself.
Or rather, with the help of friends who run a painting and plumbing company.
Electricians, locksmiths, etc. are also available or have agreed to assist.
Is 85,000 € (euros) a realistic budget for this, or completely unrealistic?
Thank you in advance,
Ahnungsloser 🙂

Without specifying the house size, it is difficult to assess. From experience, I would say that with the land costs, this will not be sufficient. As a rough estimate, people here usually calculate around 280,000-290,000 for the house alone, excluding the land and additional construction costs.

Is €85,000 realistic for that or completely unrealistic? You need to provide more details (target living area, number of housing units, level of finish, etc.)!

Electricians, locksmiths, etc. are also available or have agreed to help.
🙂Help... define help for yourself!
They might be willing to drop by one Saturday.
A friend who happens to be an electrician and offers to help will probably mean spending an afternoon turning single sockets into double ones and wiring the carport, right?
How much time have you actually planned for the interior work? You are probably working, aren’t you?
For an 80m² (860 sq ft) bungalow, all this might work out if you start with one room where you can live so that you can cancel your rental. Because the financial double burden is no joke either.
Best regards

Ahnungsloser24 Oct 2016 09:26It's about a single-family house with 4-5 rooms and approximately 140 m2 (1,507 ft2).
By assistance, I mean that they help for several days a week, either in the evenings or during the day.
I have planned about 3-4 months until the interior finishing is complete.
