Hello,

has anyone examined the alternative verification of a KfW Efficiency House 55 based on reference values, which will come into effect from April 2016? Reference values are given to achieve a KfW 55 house:
Roof surfaces, top floor ceiling, dormers U ≤ 0.14 W/(m²·K)
Windows and other transparent components Uw ≤ 0.90 W/(m²·K)
Exterior walls, floor ceilings facing the outside air U ≤ 0.20 W/(m²·K)

However, the U-values do not seem very good to me, especially since the requirements will be tightened again by 20–25% in 2016 and rather correspond to the current KfW 40 standard. In my opinion, the U-values of a current KfW 40 house are considerably better.

I would appreciate your opinions. Thank you.

Best regards

However, there would be no stricter requirements next year if KfW55 remains the same. In the case of a heat pump, it would actually be a relaxation, as the primary energy factor for electricity is being reduced.

Starting next year, you MUST build at least a KfW70 house! Isn’t that a tightening of the regulations? Heat pumps would then be favored compared to, for example, gas condensing boilers.

You are talking past each other and seem to mean the same thing.

Next year, you don’t have to build a house according to the KfW70 standard, but rather one that complies with the new energy-saving regulations. Similar, but not the same.

KfW55 remains KfW55 in terms of requirements, but the subsidies will be reduced (no more repayment grants).

OK, you’re right there. There are some differences.

That is not correct.
The subsidy is actually doubled.
Instead of 2.5%, now 5% with double the loan amount. 100,000 instead of 50,000€
