world-eHello,
has anyone examined the alternative verification of a KfW Efficiency House 55 based on reference values, which will come into effect from April 2016? Reference values are given to achieve a KfW 55 house:
Roof surfaces, top floor ceiling, dormers U ≤ 0.14 W/(m²·K)
Windows and other transparent components Uw ≤ 0.90 W/(m²·K)
Exterior walls, floor ceilings facing the outside air U ≤ 0.20 W/(m²·K)
However, the U-values do not seem very good to me, especially since the requirements will be tightened again by 20–25% in 2016 and rather correspond to the current KfW 40 standard. In my opinion, the U-values of a current KfW 40 house are considerably better.
I would appreciate your opinions. Thank you.
Best regards

I meant that the currently valid KfW40 standard from April 2016 roughly corresponds to the KfW55 standard because the requirements are being tightened. That means in 2016 the requirements for KfW55 approximately correspond to the current KfW40. And for the current KfW40 standard, I find the U-values for the new simplified verification method based on reference values not particularly good. Or am I completely mistaken?
and I think you are mistaken! KfW55 remains KfW55! Accordingly, the simplified verification process according to the current KfW55 standard must be applied. How all of this is regulated in detail, no idea.
The funding for KfW55 will be adjusted accordingly (downwards), since the Energy Saving Ordinance corresponds approximately to KfW70, and therefore funding for KfW70 will be reduced or discontinued.
