We are currently planning the construction of a new single-family house. The roof will be a shed roof with a 10° pitch, and the building footprint is 10.5 × 8.5 m (34.4 × 27.9 ft).

I am unsure about the roof design: either two full stories or a knee wall with a sloped roof on the upper floor.

What would you prefer?
(Note: two full stories are permitted according to the plan.)

Hello,

I would base my decision on the use of the rooms with lower ceiling height and the overall impression of the proportions.
