Hello everyone,
we have two proposals for our bathroom on the upper floor. The first one is from the architect, which is quite standard, and the second proposal I received from the plumber. I prefer the second one, but I wonder how it feels to have the shower immediately to the left when entering the bathroom. ....looking forward to helpful suggestions......

I might also choose option 2. However, I would probably place the bathtub under the sloped ceiling, provided the knee wall is not too low, and possibly consider adding a skylight there. Bathroom cabinets could be installed on the wall where the bathtub was previously located. In a bathroom of this size, it might also be worth considering a bidet.
Hello,
As a fellow homeowner, I can totally understand your point. If I interpret the dimensions correctly, you basically have to step into the tub just to clean the back corner comfortably. Since the corner practically invites you to use it as a shelf, it doesn’t take long before dust and detergent residue start to accumulate there.

That takes up a lot of space, and I always say that anyone who plans something like this has never cleaned a bathroom: have you ever thought about how impractical it is to clean that dead corner behind the bathtub?
