We want to build a two-story city villa with 100 sqm (1076 sq ft) of living space per floor.
Additionally, we would like a full basement if possible.
The first architect said he would have to charge 1,500.00 euros per sqm (approximately 140 USD per sq ft), which amounts to 150,000.00 euros (about 166,000 USD) just for the basement.
We are planning our build in Saxony-Anhalt, and there is a large pond right next to our plot.
Can anyone tell me if this price is realistic?

Ev-Marie861 Jun 2017 21:13So, we also wanted a basement of about 70 sqm (750 sq ft). With KfW 55 standards, it would have cost an extra 100,000. We decided against it because we didn’t want to spend 100,000 just for "storage space." However, this is in Schleswig-Holstein…
