Hello everyone, I am currently planning to purchase a new Ikea Pax wardrobe and am researching the different models and their warranty conditions in detail. My question for you is: Which Ikea Pax models actually offer the best warranty, especially regarding the duration and scope of coverage? I am particularly looking for information on whether there are differences depending on the choice of doors or extras, and how long Ikea guarantees the individual components. I am also interested in whether there are specific warranty services that cover aspects such as stability, materials, or fittings. Has anyone had practical experience or concrete information on this? Thank you in advance for your answers!
I got the Pax with sliding doors about a year ago, and even though it has been moved around a lot, there have been no issues and the customer support was really excellent! The warranty covers everything except for normal wear and tear, so it’s really great! You can buy it with confidence, donto! 😊

I mainly heard that some doors, for example sliding doors with mirror or lacquer finishes, might be a bit more delicate and possibly have a shorter warranty.I can reassure you on that. The warranty period for Ikea’s Pax doors is the same across the board, whether they have mirror or painted finishes. However, mirrors can be more prone to breaking, which is covered under the warranty if it is due to manufacturing defects. Mechanical fittings like hinges and sliding tracks are also covered, as long as they have not been installed incorrectly or subjected to improper use.
