I am planning to get the Platsa furniture system from Ikea because it is quite flexible and modular. However, I have a question: Does Ikea offer Platsa furniture with built-in lighting, meaning cabinets or shelves that come factory-equipped with lights? So far, I have only read about buying LED strips or other lighting modules separately, but I am specifically interested in an integrated lighting effect without additional DIY work.

Does anyone have experience with Ikea’s current offerings or know if Platsa furniture is available with built-in lighting? If so, what exactly does that look like – is the lighting permanently installed or more of an add-on? I would prefer not to rely on LED strips that need to be installed by myself, as a factory-installed solution seems more practical and, especially, cleaner.
