ᐅ Is there an installation guide for IKEA Brimnes doors?

I recently purchased an IKEA Brimnes wardrobe set and want to install the doors. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a detailed instruction manual specifically for the doors in the packaging—only a general assembly guide for the entire wardrobe. My question is: Is there a separate, detailed manual or special instructions for assembling the Brimnes doors?

I am already familiar with the basic steps, such as attaching screws and hinges, but I am missing precise information about exact measurement settings, possible fine adjustments of the hinges, or how to install the handles. It’s possible that IKEA has released different versions of the doors or their hangings over time, which might make assembly less straightforward.

This is exactly the point that confuses me. I have read various online reports mentioning differences in the door mechanics. Presumably, there were design changes over time that were not always clearly communicated.

My concern is that some screw and drill holes might not line up exactly, depending on the manufacturing year of the cabinet. Therefore, installation instructions tailored to the production year or at least additional notes would be very helpful.

Does anyone happen to have such a “historical” overview or know of differences over time?

I bought a Brimnes wardrobe last year and had no issues assembling the doors.

The instructions in the box are simple but sufficient. Attach the screws in the designated holes, install the doors, and adjust them.

If the holes don't align, something was probably changed or parts are missing. In that case, you should contact IKEA customer service directly.
