I am especially interested in which protective measures are effective, what packing techniques to pay attention to, and whether there are any particular issues to consider regarding the materials and construction of Brimnes.
Since the furniture is relatively large and made from pressed wood, I am concerned mainly about scratches, dents, or even breaks during transport. Does anyone have experience or well-founded advice to help avoid costly damage during delivery or self-transport?

Let's be honest: You don't have to be so meticulous when transporting Brimnes. Sure, nobody wants scratches, but the stuff is quite sturdy.
Insurance and repairs are easier to deal with if needed than spending hours wrapping with plastic and tightening straps.
You can overdo everything. I load my furniture into the car, slide it in carefully, and that's it. In the end, a few minor dents are normal.

I also recommend wrapping the furniture with stretch film before transport and adding foam edge protectors. Once properly prepared, you save yourself trouble during unloading or assembly.
