Hello everyone,
I am currently working on the renovation of an old building together with an architect. At the moment, we are still in the preliminary planning phase of the floor plans.
The house is very old and has been extended in several places over the past century. The goal is to completely renovate the house.
Household for four people (man, woman, two children). My wife and I both work a lot from home.

What could be improved? What are your opinions?

The current question is about the appropriate size for the utility room and whether the proposed 6.5 m² (70 ft²) is sufficient. In addition to the utility room, a household room of 8.5 m² (91 ft²) is planned.
The following is intended to be placed in the utility room:
- buffer storage tank
- heat pump station
- electrical and KNX control panel
- probably a server cabinet
Am I missing anything?
There will also be photovoltaic system and battery storage, but these will be located in an outbuilding.

It would be helpful if the plans clearly distinguished between the planned and existing conditions. For this, the usual three-color synopsis with floor plans in black and white for existing structures, green for demolition, and red for additions would be needed. Of course, dimensions would also be helpful. Additionally, a depiction of the location of the outbuilding on the property would be useful.

Are the drawings showing the as-built condition, the planned state from the architect, or the original condition?

And the depiction of the location of the auxiliary building on the property as well.
