ᐅ Help with floor plan design, 150 sqm gable roof house

Hello,

we are currently working on the floor plan and are feeling a bit overwhelmed. Somehow, we still don't find the layout satisfactory but at the same time, we’re unsure what changes to make.

A brief explanation: the second floor plan shows the latest improvement suggestions from our architect. The last image shows the first draft, where you can see the exterior dimensions.

Do you have any ideas or suggestions for improvements?

Above all, these are double empty posts. I can’t see either the first or the second floor plan, and it’s not just the third image missing (or they might be invisible images, either way, as a non-expert following the latest trend of ‘the emperor’s new clothes,’ I don’t like either). Why post the same empty question twice? – I even waited three hours specifically to see if the original poster would notice what’s missing… still no luck :-(

Did you perhaps upload your images but forget to click the "insert" button? Only then are they actually added to your post.

I think the entrance area needs to be reconsidered. It somehow doesn’t work well for three children and the staircase right next to it. There is very little space. Additionally, the rooms upstairs are unstructured with many corners. You can hardly furnish them.

The T-shaped layout in the bathroom is not my preference. I also feel it lets too little light into the back area.

However, the bedroom and dressing room arrangement is perfectly done.

In the end, I have to say that the budget probably won’t match the house. You will need to increase your finances a bit.
