great question, I’ve moved Malm furniture a few times myself. My advice: always remove the drawers first and pack them separately – otherwise, they rattle during transport and can damage the furniture.
I usually use bubble wrap secured with painter’s tape – it sticks well without damaging the surface. Then I wrap a thin blanket or an old rug around it for extra cushioning.
