ᐅ Are there furniture options that are easier to assemble than the Ikea Brimnes series?

Lili42Hello everyone, I am currently looking into furniture assembly, especially since I often hear about the Ikea Brimnes series, which is very popular. The question that interests me most is: Are there furniture pieces that can be objectively assembled more easily than the Ikea Brimnes? By this, I mean not only the quality of the components but also the instructions, the difficulty level of the assembly, and the time required. Perhaps you have experience with other furniture that is clearer, faster, or simply more pleasant to put together. I am particularly interested in practical tips and experiences, as well as sources or specific models. Looking forward to your opinions and experiences!
I can understand why Brimnes furniture is used as a comparison here, since it is very affordable. However, I have seen with friends that furniture from manufacturers like Höffner or Roller is of higher quality, even though assembly often takes a bit more time. This has made me uncertain because I don’t know if I actually prefer less effort or better stability. Has anyone had similar experiences? This kind of input always helps me make a good decision.

I would even argue that many pieces of furniture from no-name brands can be put together faster than the Brimnes, which often involves unnecessary fiddling. So, in my opinion, better than Brimnes does not automatically mean easier. This needs to be differentiated.

I find the Ikea Malm chest of drawers much easier to assemble than the Brimnes. Thanks for the clear comparison. Have you actually compared the Malm directly with the Brimnes in terms of the included instructions, or is that more of a gut feeling? I'm curious whether the Brimnes instructions are genuinely worse, or if it's just a matter of getting used to them.
