Do you have to drill the holes yourself, or are there service providers who prepare this in advance? I ask because I am reasonably handy, but I’m not sure if I can achieve the necessary millimeter-level accuracy to continue using height and lateral adjustments.

Just a thought: If you really want to stay unique but don’t want half-finished solutions with IKEA hinges, why not invest in completely new fittings and create your own door mechanism? Sliding doors, folding doors, frameless glass design – the possibilities are almost endless.

Of course, the effort is greater, and there is no guarantee the result will fit as perfectly as with the IKEA systems. As with everything: you can always go expensive, but you have to be smart.

I just wonder if this attention to detail with IKEA Pax sometimes goes a bit overboard.
