Hello everyone, I am currently planning the assembly of my Pax sliding doors and want to approach it as organized and safely as possible. Since there are some who already have experience with this, I would like to know:

How does the assembly of Pax sliding doors generally work?

I am especially interested in the sequence of the individual assembly steps, which components should be installed first, and any special features or common pitfalls to watch out for to ensure proper function and secure fastening.

It would be great if someone could clearly outline the details, from preparation through the actual assembly to the adjustment of the doors. Thanks in advance!

The assembly of Pax sliding fronts is preferably carried out in the following steps:
- First, the bottom and top tracks are attached to the carcasses.
- Next, the rollers are mounted onto the doors.
- Then the doors are hung onto the tracks.
- After that, the rollers are adjusted to align the doors horizontally and parallel to the carcass.
- Finally, the bottom guide rails are fixed in place to ensure the stability of the doors.

It is important to tighten all screws firmly by hand and securely fix them after adjustments to prevent any looseness. It is also recommended to perform the installation in a clean and well-lit area.

First, the running tracks should be installed, then the doors with the rollers should be mounted. After that, only adjustment is needed to ensure they run smoothly.

I would like to add: Make sure the running rails are installed precisely parallel and flush; otherwise, the doors may get stuck when sliding. It’s best to measure before screwing to ensure the rails are truly level.

Also, it’s important not to mount the rollers on the doors too tightly or too loosely so they can be properly adjusted later. Patience during fine-tuning will result in smooth movement and prevent irreversible damage.

All I can say is: Have fun putting it together! The Pax sliding fronts are very well designed, and once you understand how they work, everything goes really smoothly!

Don’t forget to sort everything carefully at the start and read the instructions thoroughly.

Good luck, you’ll do great! 🙂

I have a question: How secure are the connections between the tracks and the carcasses against twisting? Are there any experiences regarding whether the tracks are stable enough, or should additional reinforcements like extra screws or clamps be planned?

It is important to me not just to follow the instructions blindly, but to understand whether the construction remains stable under everyday loads over time.
