ᐅ Which roofing material is best for a flat shed roof?

We are unsure about the roof covering.

What type of roof covering would you recommend for a 10-degree single-pitch roof?

Galvanized sheet metal or trapezoidal metal roofing, or tiled roof?

What are the advantages and disadvantages?

For a tiled roof, only flat tiles (e.g., Tegalit tiles) are an option since these are the only ones we like. Would a waterproof underlayment be mandatory?

There will also be a photovoltaic system installed on the roof.

I’m also interested in the pros and cons. We are planning a single-pitch roof with a current slope of 7 degrees. At some point, we considered an in-roof photovoltaic system, so I would also like to know the costs, in case anyone has experience with that.

None of these; if the roof pitch is below 12° (12°), always use bitumen and then slate covering.

That is always possible, regardless of the roof pitch.

I am also planning a shed roof with a 5° slope.
Most likely bitumen followed by extensive green roofing.

We chose trapezoidal steel sheets for the roof covering of our 6° (6°) mono-pitched roof. I can’t share any experience with them yet since we haven’t moved in, but so far, it is definitely watertight.

Could you maybe upload a photo? Do you have a photovoltaic system installed on it?
