My electricity provider is frustrating me, and I want to switch, but what exactly do I need to consider?

Nothing, find a new one who will transfer your registration.

Meter number and meter reading are the only things you need.

Exactly! You call the new provider, say that you want to switch, and they take care of the rest for you. You basically don’t have to do anything. That’s why I switch relatively often 😀
