I recently moved into my new house but still don’t have an internet connection. It’s starting to get really frustrating having to rely on mobile data all the time. Does anyone have any affordable suggestions?

What connections are available in the house? That already narrows down the options a bit.

And what will you need the internet connection for?

Location?

Did you just check the service availability online with Telekom as a formality?

Yesterday, I used the relocation service of our provider 1&1. Let’s see what Telekom says about that. 😉 It could happen that the big magenta-colored company won’t release the line, and we might have to switch to Telekom.

They tend to insist on keeping the line, especially when it’s a first connection. 😉

They are known to insist on keeping the line, especially with a first occupancy. 😉

Then you will experience what we did: a USB stick for dial-up, weeks of thorough checking by 1&1, then an abrupt disconnection by 1&1, followed by an explanation and contract termination, which only happened by email two days later. And then they don’t care that you can no longer access your email inbox. 😉

Well, that sounds great! 😕 I’m curious! I’ll keep you posted. 😉
