That sounds really expensive. For us, it was 650 euros (three boreholes and a detailed report with foundation recommendations). There were also cheaper offers available. However, we built in NRW.

We received 5 quotes ranging between 590 and 1500... somewhere on the internet there is a website where you enter your postal code. Then you get offers from companies... I just can't find it anymore 🙁

You can find useful information there. Otherwise, or in addition, look for geologists who usually accept assignments within a 100-kilometer (62-mile) radius.
