ᐅ What features did you include in your house, and what did you decide to leave out?

Hello,
When planning and building a house, you focus on the essentials and the budget. Some wishes get dropped along the way. But certain small luxuries or nice features are important to you, even if they are not strictly necessary, and you end up including them anyway.
For us, a heated conservatory was an unattainable dream. However, we treated ourselves to tiled, walk-in showers, even though they take up more space.
I would love to hear what you have given up and what you managed to include.
Best regards

We decided on the Keramag Icon/4U.
What does "without a plan" mean exactly?
Even if I prove once again to be a complete layperson.
I hope our model is designed better in terms of angles... I will keep you updated...
To be honest, I hadn’t even considered the issue with the flush stones...
Good luck

What does "without plan" mean? That is an appendix to the model name. In this case, "plan" means flat-edged. But for the toilets, we chose the rounded version (without PLAN, not flat-edged, but rounded)...
so it’s not important for you.
It’s a pity that you can’t look inside the toilet from Keramag; for our model, there is a photo taken from above.
If I may give you some advice: go for it anyway! (You just have to weigh the pros and cons...)
Gradually, more ideas come to mind in this wonderful thread. We are installing a straight staircase in the center of the house, and the space underneath will be turned into a pantry. We will have a custom-built interior made for it, including a sliding door. This way, we can use the small pantry like a large closet and don’t have to awkwardly move around in the cramped space. By the way, the kitchen is right next to it, so it’s essentially an external storage cabinet. Since we mostly shop for fresh groceries and hardly store any canned goods or similar items, this solution works perfectly for us and is something we look forward to.
