Hello everyone,
I am looking for a good solution for our main bathroom. We have been planning with a T-layout, but I’m no longer sure if this is the best option.
Attached you’ll find the planned T-layout and an alternative.

Unfortunately, the bathroom planner was not very creative. Do you have any good ideas?
Thank you very much in advance!
Edit: No sloped ceilings, all walls full room height.

Attached you’ll find the planned T-layout and an alternative.
Room details:
- Dimensions: 3.51 m x 3.51 m (11.5 ft x 11.5 ft)
- Door: must be on the left wall, position still flexible
- Window at the bottom: width 2.01 m (6.6 ft), height 0.885 m (2.9 ft), sill height 1.18 m (3.9 ft), single-leaf, tilt-only
- Window on the right: width 0.76 m (2.5 ft), height 1.20 m (3.9 ft), sill height 0.865 m (2.8 ft), not mandatory but I think it’s good for ventilation
Contents:
- walk-in, level-access shower
- toilet
- bathtub
- washbasin, width 1.30 m (4.3 ft)
- cabinet, width 0.70 m (2.3 ft)
- towel radiator
Unfortunately, the bathroom planner was not very creative. Do you have any good ideas?
Thank you very much in advance!
Edit: No sloped ceilings, all walls full room height.

hohensteiner10 Feb 2015 21:26More than 10 square meters (108 square feet) available in the bathroom is a dream for my wife... We currently have only 7 square meters (75 square feet). I can recommend bathroom furniture from Antado. They are very practical and more affordable than furniture from, for example, IKEA. We have a wall cabinet and a vanity cabinet that do not stand on the floor (so the cabinet is also a wall cabinet). Link removed This is a good idea because dirt and mold do not accumulate on the floor.

It’s supposed to last for several years... In our rental apartment, we had cheap bathroom furniture. After just 3-4 years, it didn’t look good anymore – once we built our house, furniture at the IKEA price level was no longer an option for me.
I agree with that.
We chose the 2Morrow series from Sanipa, featuring two Villeroy & Boch Subway washbasins mounted on a console countertop, accompanied by two spacious vanity cabinets and a large illuminated mirror. Additionally, we added a tall cabinet and a smaller wall-mounted cabinet from the same series.
The total cost for everything was just under 5,400 € (around 5,400 euros), with the mirror and the console countertop each costing nearly 850 € (around 850 euros). Since yesterday, everything has been installed, and I believe the quality difference compared to cheaper furniture is clearly visible and noticeable.

Hello, I’ll now share what the plan is:
It will be an L-shaped layout (see attachment). This makes the shower even larger, and allows us to better route and vent the wastewater pipes.
We are still not completely sure about the bathtub placement. After all, a wall cabinet (width: 60cm (24 inches), depth: 35cm (14 inches)) also needs to fit somewhere.
Thank you very much for your feedback.
By the way, we are getting the bathroom furniture from Pelipal. They have a modular system that fits, among others, the Subway 2.0 series from Villeroy & Boch, which we will have. Also, we already use Pelipal furniture in our current bathroom and are very satisfied. This furniture will also be used in the children’s bathroom.
