We are building without a basement – the heating system and hot water tank will be installed in the utility room (house connection room). In the anteroom (small room behind the apartment door), we plan to store food supplies and kitchen items.
The windows face the outside terrace.

The floor plan is final? That means anyone could look from the front door straight into the living room... and you’d be able to see the utility room from the sofa!? Plus, that odd staircase layout (although that’s secondary). Seriously, this won’t work – reduce the size of the utility room, extend the living room wall, make sure the entrance to the utility room is still accessible from the hallway at the south side (from below), and place the door so it opens into the dining area – in the center. If the utility room becomes too small, enlarge it towards the kitchen.
