Good morning forum, I’m working on an upcoming extension... A large double garage on the ground floor with living space and a balcony above. The garage will also serve as my private workshop, so it will be heated. Additionally, I occasionally celebrate my birthday there. Now I’m looking for a suitable floor for it. Do you have any ideas???

I also considered that, but with water it could become icy from snow and puddles (moisture on the ground) may remain...

What do you think about paving stones or something similar?

There are liquid coatings or sealants available for garages, right?
I wouldn’t choose tiles. Sooner or later, they usually crack.

Hello,
even though I’m not a fan of PVC flooring, this might actually be a reasonable option here.
Alternatively, tiles. Sealing costs about the same as inexpensive tiles but also has a limited lifespan...

Hello,
we also have tiles in our garage that often get wet. However, they are not slippery at all; it really depends on the type of tile.

Hello

A concrete slab with thermally activated concrete core for heating.
Grind and seal the concrete.
