Hello everyone,

We plan to start building a single-family house next year and are currently brainstorming ideas for the floor plan. What do you think of our current concept?

We are planning for three children and no basement. Since the soil is very damp, we were advised against having a basement (which we actually agree with). Additionally, we are only allowed to build a single-story house.
We found it quite challenging to make the most of the narrow plot: the entrance needs to be at the end of the street, possibly resulting in an L-shaped layout. We also want to build relatively narrow to enlarge the garden. We visited many model home parks and suppliers but found few options that really fit our needs. Of course, we are open to all ideas and suggestions.

Thanks for your feedback. Best regards.

Oh Faja... An interesting attitude, which can probably also be applied to the frequent posters here in the forum... Just ask them sometime, here and out in nature...

Have a nice weekend

Don’t get me wrong... the people know their stuff and are professionals, but they also have a strong need to communicate. Let the frustrated layperson share their thoughts.

That’s not possible, since the users here have other professional occupations and mostly participate privately to share their experiences and help other users.

If I spent my workday in the forum, it could indicate that I am not busy with paid assignments.
If I also spend my evenings working in the forum, people might assume that I lack recognition in my professional life and have to rely on the forum instead.
One could analyze this psychologically... but that would require wine and popcorn.
That’s all for the Green forum!

This about the green forum!

I do not view the green forum and the group of regular posters as a whole (who are quite diverse, after all) in such a negative light.

And when you are self-employed in a creative profession, there is no clear boundary between working hours and other time, because it is a way of life—and an attitude.
Others can also be included in this, in a forum, at any time.

If, however, a somehow definable "normal extent" is exceeded, then that is indeed unusual.

I have tried to take the feedback into account and reconsider the building structure.
What do you think of the sketch?

...please stop and find someone who can really help you. By stage 4 of the project, the budget should already be sufficient.

Apart from Wanderdüne, you are getting feedback from laypeople – where is this supposed to lead?!
