I would like to ask for your opinion on these three floor plans – Floor Plan 1 and 2 take future family planning into account, Plan 3 does not (my partner and I would live in the first house). Please feel free to be completely honest about what you like and what you like less, and maybe also which floor plan seems the most practical and well designed to you.

Thank you in advance for your feedback!

Development Plan / Restrictions
between 550 and 650 m2 (5920 and 7000 sq ft)
no slope

Client Requirements
each with basement, ground floor, and upper floor
hip roof
for 2 people each (22 & 26, 26 & 27, 28 & 34)
open kitchen, kitchen island
balcony, roof terrace
garage, carport
utility garden, greenhouse

House Design
Who created the plan:
- Do-it-Yourself
What do you particularly like? Why?
What do you dislike? Why?
Estimated cost according to the designer: all houses 512k
preferred heating system: underfloor heating

Why is the design the way it is now? For example:
What makes it particularly good or bad in your opinion? Personally, I don’t like the somewhat claustrophobic hallway (the toilet will be added to the bathroom in the front) and the winding shape of the children’s rooms

PS: Margins/construction costs etc. are, of course, purely fictional.
But the scale of the figures is realistic.

Hello everyone, I just wanted to clarify that canceling the already signed house purchase agreement is not an option for the future homeowners. They trust the reliability and credibility of the construction company and are aware that there will naturally be additional costs, such as those for removing the excavated soil.

If you want to support me: I am 22 years old, my boyfriend is 26, and I am not involved in the financing myself, but I am concerned because I would like to optimize the floor plan. I feel that not everything was fully considered by him, but since I will also be living in this house one day, I would like to ask for your help—without any further negativity. I would appreciate constructive, factual feedback in my new post 🙂 Thank you!

@NMarieKH ... there were already some suggestions in post 2, including
nordanney schrieb:

- Site plan
- Orientation
- Why the floor plan is designed as it is
- Location on the plot

and additionally ... why not take your plans for House 1 and furnish them as you would like, then present everything together here again.

A few notes:
- Pantry so large on the ground floor with a big basement ... unnecessary
- Consider where bicycles, other outdoor equipment, etc. will be stored
- Why have an office? Please explain everything overall.
- Why the square flat-roofed bay window?
- Please explain why the toilets are separate in both bathrooms. What if someone needs to go right before showering? 😉

- Site plan
- Orientation
