Hello experts,
I am considering buying a dishwasher that is a few years old for my new IKEA METOD kitchen, but I am not entirely sure if this model will fit.
The seller is also unsure about the model since it is at least 8 years old. I am attaching a few photos. A reverse image search suggests that it is an IKEA RENLIG DW60.
The door height is approximately 64 cm (25 inches), and the total height is about 81–85 cm (32–33 inches).
Could someone find out if this will actually fit with METOD with Behjälplig?

Then you need this variable hinge, and these devices are more expensive again. All of this should already be available, since it is presumably a replacement – at least, that’s what I assume. In our case (not IKEA), a defective fully integrated appliance was just replaced with a new model from a different brand, and everything was handled using existing resources.

No, the dishwasher needs to have a Vario hinge. No, they can be attached from the side with screws. This means the door has screws on the side. Some of these hold the door itself, while others allow you to attach the front panel. And if I’m not mistaken, the one shown here also has the screw holes used for this purpose.
Basically, it’s just about the width and height of the cabinet to see if it fits. For an Ikea kitchen panel, you typically only use one door anyway.
No,
the hinge is a feature of the dishwasher. It moves the front panel upward when the door opens because otherwise it would hit the base panel at the bottom, due to the slightly different construction of IKEA cabinets. Alternatively, it is possible to use flip-up toe kicks.
However, I just noticed that variable hinges seem to be more common now than before.
