ᐅ Are PVC ventilation ducts safe regarding harmful substances such as plasticizers?

I need supply and exhaust ducts for a decentralized controlled residential ventilation system.
Condensate will also drain through the exhaust duct.
I also need (smooth inside) 15-degree elbows.
So far, I have only seen these made from PVC.
Apparently, PVC can be harmful to health because it may release pollutants, but this might only apply to flexible PVC (plasticizers) and not to rigid PVC.
Can anyone provide some information on this?

These are Meltem heat recovery(1) units, and suitable pipes for supply and exhaust air are included.
However, I need one or more 15-degree elbows because I can't run the duct straight out of the wall.
As far as I know, Meltem doesn’t offer those.
Do you know where I can get something like that?
Hmm, this naturally raises the question of whether the device is actually suitable for these requirements (multiple angles: always significant losses). Has anyone knowledgeable given this some thought? I haven’t looked at the diameters yet, but there are also insulated ducting options or the classic spiral seam duct...

There is one angle for the supply air and one angle for the exhaust air.
I spoke with the manufacturer and they had no objections, especially since I only need a 15-degree angle and the total length is not increased.
What do you mean by Isop?
The manufacturer advised against using spiral duct because the internal ridges could cause problems with condensate drainage...

I hope that "smooth" refers to the inside.
However, I rather doubt that it seals properly just by being pushed on (condensation)?
