I want to build the side wall on one side of the terrace, between the house wall and the other end where we have a terrace post. I have chosen aluminum sandwich panels so that I can use one panel for the entire width of 4.5 m (15 feet).

As you can see in the attached picture, I plan to use two aluminum sandwich panels to reach a height of 2 m (6.5 feet), and above that, 16 m (52.5 feet) of polycarbonate sheets to allow sunlight to enter from the east side.

I would appreciate your support with this small DIY project in my home, especially regarding the materials needed and the construction.

Basically, I plan to install U-profiles on both ends, with one end fixed to the wall and the other end attached to the terrace post.

There is also a wall between my neighbor and me for the row houses, so I chose aluminum panels instead of regular polyester fabric.

Do you have any suggestions regarding the dimensions of the aluminum profiles and the screws required for the aluminum sandwich panels and the polycarbonate?

You want to build a 16 m (52.5 ft) long wall, with 4.5 m (14.8 ft) of it being opaque?
I don’t understand the drawing and description.

That’s my mistake, I meant 16 mm (0.63 inches) polycarbonate sheets. I want to build a side wall measuring 2 sections of 4.5 m (15 ft) each, made of aluminum sandwich panels, and attach triangular polycarbonate sheets onto the aluminum sandwich panels.
