Hello everyone,
In the next two weeks, our ordered pergola will be delivered (Dutch manufacturer – not the “big” one, but another).
For wall mounting as well as floor mounting, M10 bolts with standard anchors are provided and included.
I already inquired about this: these are not fish-eye anchors, so not cheap brands.
Wall mounting: M10x70mm (M10x2.8 inches)
Floor mounting: M10x80mm (M10x3.1 inches)
Since our insulation alone is 12cm (5 inches) thick, followed by the 36.5cm (14.4 inches) brick wall, I would need at least M10x140mm (M10x5.5 inches) – what do you think?
For the floor, the M10x80mm should definitely be sufficient.
My question now (especially for the wall) is, what exactly should I use here? What would be the optimal bolt length? Which anchors should I use? Heavy-duty anchors? And which size exactly?
I assume I can use the bolts for the floor mounting. Which anchors would be best suited for the concrete foundation there?
Looking forward to your input!

What does the manufacturer say about it?It’s more of a small language barrier—technically a bit challenging, to be honest.
Since every facade assembly is different and this concerns fastening materials, unfortunately, there is no universal solution. It definitely needs to be adapted to the specific requirements and conditions on site.
I’m also worried that if I use a sleeve anchor of the proper length, I might compress or damage the insulation when tightening it.
