Otherwise, there are 1,000 possibilities depending on your taste. At the last house, it was a mailbox in the front garden with plants. Concrete columns/walls are also quite ordinary.

Concrete fence? What is that?
Our mailbox is attached to the house by the front door – in my opinion, that’s where it belongs, so you can easily get your mail even in slippers or when you’re unwell. But then the property would have to be open or accessible to everyone.
Concrete fences are fences made from concrete panels that look like stone and can be colored.

Concrete fences are fences made of concrete panels that look like stones and can be colored. Just Google it. Thanks. I looked it up. They are uncommon here, rather rare.
In fact, most properties here don’t have gates or anything similar. Most driveways are open, even in villa neighborhoods and the so-called “millionaire districts.”
So this question feels very unfamiliar to me.

So the whole question feels quite unfamiliar to me. It’s different here; almost everyone has a fence. Otherwise, it would be difficult with the dog, who is allowed to run freely in the garden when we are home.
But to get back to the original question:
In our case, it is mounted on a masonry pillar of the sliding gate system. If I had a swing gate, I would have integrated it into the pillar.
