Hello everyone,
I’m new to the forum since we are currently planning a single-family house. Our favorite option is actually Weberhaus, and we have already had the initial consultation, which we really liked. The selection of finishes also looks very good.
However, we would like to see a detailed specifications list of a turnkey house, but the sales advisor was not able to show us any, which we understand in terms of data protection. For us, this is very important before we want to take the next steps.
From many acquaintances, we have gathered experiences and heard statements like, "If we had been able to see a specifications list beforehand, we would have done some things differently in advance." Unfortunately, none of our acquaintances have built with Weberhaus, so we have no chance to review such a document completely. Additionally, we have seen specifications lists from other companies from acquaintances, which were sometimes very vague and not really detailed or well-structured. Sometimes, even after reading them, it is unclear whether “Item A” is included or not. Hence, we’re asking here in a public forum.
We are fully aware that each specifications list is unique and cannot be compared one-to-one, but we mainly want to understand how one looks at Weberhaus, how extensive it is, how detailed everything is described, and also to gather some ideas for each trade so we can possibly add some items during the offer phase.
Is there anyone here who has a specifications list of a turnkey single-family house from Weberhaus? Of course, without any names, addresses, etc.—that’s not the point. Just the individual items/trades with possible additional costs as well. That would be great.
Best regards,
Thommy

1. A preliminary selection does not replace what we are concerned about. It only gives me an impression regarding the choices and additional costs, but no detailed record of how exactly things are described – this is the reason for our request, since we have already seen records after the final selection that are not just brief but very brief. (Example, tile work: two sentences – not even specifying which tile size is included, let alone how the walls will be tiled or what is included, with no description or reference to a tile plan or anything similar). Sure, you can raise these issues and ask for additions before signing, but with so many trades involved, you might overlook something yourself and potentially regret it later. Therefore, having a look at a turnkey protocol in advance, showing how the descriptions are written, would be helpful. If this gives us a solid impression that everything is described in detail from the start, we simply feel better – like signing a contract without later being surprised by our own record, which we are seeing for the first time in this form, and then thinking: “We should have looked at something like this earlier.” After all, I also look at a completed company-built house before buying from them to get an impression of their construction practices and quality, etc. Besides the actual house, we would also like to review the “quality of the documents” as much as possible beforehand.
2. The standard construction description has a total of 44 pages, which we also have, where all trades are described simply according to the standard. I don’t know where the 8 pages are supposed to come from or if we are even talking about the same thing. But that is only the general construction description and not the scope of work following the final selection, which will ultimately be decisive for the construction.
3. We have an offer with standard content, which we also have. But see point 1 regarding this.
4. Why that should be considered “cringe” is increasingly puzzling. Nowadays, it feels like everything is called “cringe” immediately.
5. The thread can be closed / deleted – I have no idea how this is handled here. The topic is resolved since I asked in another forum, where people apparently are more helpful and approachable. Accordingly, we were able to resolve our issue there within an hour—just not here.

I asked in another forum where people are clearly more helpful and approachable. As a result, we were able to resolve our issue there within an hour, but not here. This forum is really bad – the users don’t know anything about Weberhaus and are not helpful at all. If advice is free, you can still expect some knowledge, right?G

3. We have an offer with standard scope, which we also have on hand. But see point 1 regarding this. The final description with your specific contents is absolutely identical—for example, swapping Q2 plaster for Q4 plaster quality. Added value: zero. Therefore, the request is awkward because it is not productive.

Available online at Weberhaus. The construction and equipment specification from Weberhaus is only 44 pages, not 8. Also, it is no longer possible to access or download it online from Weberhaus; that used to be possible, but at least as of today, it is not. I have no idea what 8-page document you are referring to online.

This forum is really bad – the users know nothing about Weber. So they are not helpful. For free advice, you can also expect some knowledge, right? Who said that? In this now more specific case – which some might call "cringe" – another source was simply faster and more effective than here. Unfortunately, since the request, there has been no sign whatsoever that anyone here would be willing to help; rather the opposite. There was more resistance than comments labeling it as "cringe" or similar. For us, that is all fine.
