ᐅ Weberhaus – Equipment Specification Report for a Turnkey Single-Family Home

Hello everyone,
I’m new to the forum since we are currently planning a single-family house. Our favorite option is actually Weberhaus, and we have already had the initial consultation, which we really liked. The selection of finishes also looks very good.
However, we would like to see a detailed specifications list of a turnkey house, but the sales advisor was not able to show us any, which we understand in terms of data protection. For us, this is very important before we want to take the next steps.
From many acquaintances, we have gathered experiences and heard statements like, "If we had been able to see a specifications list beforehand, we would have done some things differently in advance." Unfortunately, none of our acquaintances have built with Weberhaus, so we have no chance to review such a document completely. Additionally, we have seen specifications lists from other companies from acquaintances, which were sometimes very vague and not really detailed or well-structured. Sometimes, even after reading them, it is unclear whether “Item A” is included or not. Hence, we’re asking here in a public forum.
We are fully aware that each specifications list is unique and cannot be compared one-to-one, but we mainly want to understand how one looks at Weberhaus, how extensive it is, how detailed everything is described, and also to gather some ideas for each trade so we can possibly add some items during the offer phase.
Is there anyone here who has a specifications list of a turnkey single-family house from Weberhaus? Of course, without any names, addresses, etc.—that’s not the point. Just the individual items/trades with possible additional costs as well. That would be great.
Best regards,
Thommy

As mentioned in the very first post, we have, of course, already brought this up with our sales advisor from Weberhaus. He was our very first point of contact since we don’t personally know anyone who has built with Weberhaus. However, he was unable (or perhaps unwilling?) to show us any examples. We don’t know whether he has none available or if it’s due to data protection reasons. We will, of course, ask him again. We just thought that maybe this forum could also provide such an opportunity.
Ultimately, our interest lies solely in the scope of work descriptions for the individual trades. Even the prices or additional costs are completely irrelevant to us. As already mentioned, we are fully aware that every house and every scope of work is entirely individual, just like the prices, and we have no intention of trying to "copy" anything.
I actually didn’t want to start a debate here about "building with wood vs. building with masonry" or about other companies besides Weberhaus. Given our concern, that wouldn’t make any sense.

I didn’t want to start a debate here about "building with wood / building with stone" or about companies other than Weberhaus. That doesn’t make any sense given our situation. For those of us who could be called "forum veterans," it always makes sense to try to figure out whether someone has chosen a particular provider based on solid reasons or more naively. Many newcomers have already realized that they fell for certain myths, for example. That’s why it’s better to ask one more question than not enough.

Of course we will follow up with him again. We just thought that maybe such an opportunity might also arise here in the forum. Such opportunities do arise here regularly — unfortunately often only five or eight years after someone asked a question (and has long since disappeared). At that point it can still be helpful, but not directly for the person who originally asked.
You can change sales representatives: if you like the manufacturer but find the assigned consultant not cooperative enough, let the regional sales manager or, if necessary, the head of sales know exactly that. Before letting things fail because of this, they will gladly assign you a different consultant. That (and actually granting your initial request) is absolutely routine business.

Before it comes to a deadlock, they will usually assign you a different consultant. This almost happened to us as well. On the open house day of the construction company, the authorized signatory noticed this and personally took care of our requests and the resulting contract. Otherwise, the order would have been lost too.
There are various home builders that offer something called pre-selection. This way, you know exactly what to expect—much more precisely than any external report could ever provide.
Unfortunately, I don’t know which of the companies mentioned in this thread offer this service—I had pre-selection appointments with three other builders and was then able to plan very well for the additional costs I should anticipate.

Sorry if this sounds a bit naive, but you just want a detailed scope of work before signing? Isn’t that the most basic thing in the world, and shouldn’t Weberhaus have already handed that to you?

Sorry if I seem a bit silly asking, but you just want a construction specification before signing? The standard construction specification is available online (somewhere around eight pages). But the OP wants a customized version including all special items and whatever other details. It’s cringe, I know.
