We had a walk-in, open shower installed. However, water regularly splashes or runs from the "shower area" into the main "bathroom area." The floor is tiled throughout, so it is not clear how far the shower’s waterproofing extends.
Would you recommend adding a door or curtain as a precaution, or is the risk of long-term damage low?

nordanney10 Jun 2025 14:21Under normal circumstances (whether old or new), you don’t need additional waterproofing. Even eight years ago, waterproofing should have been applied.
