I have to correct you. With Bonum Haus, the client signs the contract directly with the site management. What do you think @MADLARRY means by this statement then?:

Yes, Bonum only connects you with local tradespeople. However, site management/supervision is also included. nordanney schrieb:

And not selected by yourself. That would be the ultimate irony squared.
Regarding the topic of site manager / “site manager,” I recommend my posts here: https://www.hausbau-forum.de/search/2102745/?q=Bauleiter&c[users]=11ant&o=date

From this perspective, I find it somewhat disappointing that there is no independent authority overseeing the process.
The Bonum brochure promotes quality by stating that years of collaboration between the trades ensure the quality is right and that they have a sophisticated quality management system in place to catch errors. I’m not sure what to make of that.

I don’t really know what to make of that. If a provider can’t convince you transparently, then keep your distance and choose one of their competitors. In this section, many prospective homeowners ask about companies X and Y simply because these are the only ones they have heard of – but there are also others, from Z and A to W (and by the way, there are several posts where multiple competitors for the respective construction region are listed and even compared).

Basically, I have nothing negative to say about Bonum. They actually only connect you with local craftsmen. However, if there are "serious" problems, the site management will remind you 3-4 times... but no more than that. We did not have any major defects. But I do strongly recommend getting a concrete report for basement construction. That was/is our main concern.

I always wonder, when I read about companies like this one, who will be able and willing to cover legal fees for years in both directions, since the general terms and conditions in the contracts protect everyone except the builder.
