ᐅ Ceiling outlet without protective earth (ground) wire

Hello everyone,

In my new build, several ceiling outlets for lights do not have a yellow/green conductor but instead have four conductors with blue, brown, black, and gray colors. (See attachment)

My question is whether this is technically correct.

Can someone help me with this?

Sure. The electrician who installed the cables.

Otherwise, they need to be tested for continuity. My crystal ball is out of service. Sorry.

My question is whether a yellow-green ground wire isn’t mandatory. The electrician will say it’s fine as is, but that doesn’t necessarily have to be correct.

Maybe there is one, but in a different color.

That is prohibited, at least in domestic electrical installations...

According to DIN/VDE standards, a protective earth (PE) conductor is also mandatory. But mistakes can happen (color-blind electrician?).
