Hello,

Our new building is below street level. Originally, we had planned a sewage lifting unit. Now, an alternative called the Pumpfix F from Kessel has been offered to us, since there is enough slope to the sewer.
Would you recommend going with the sewage lifting unit or choosing the Pumpfix F?

Thanks in advance.

In a similar situation, I chose the Pumpfix. It seemed more practical to rely on the natural slope under normal conditions and only depend on the pump in rare (or possibly never) cases of backflow. The lifting station runs continuously, and if it fails, that’s a serious problem (sorry for the language).

Note: maintenance is not cheap (€440 net per service) and should at least be carried out by customer service during the warranty/guarantee period.
