Hello everyone,

After reading a lot here and planning for three months now, I’m trying to get some help.
The plot is complicated, maybe a bit narrow to also fit a separate apartment on the ground floor.

We are unsure how to “split” the plot.
Who should get the west or east side?
Which street should the house face?
The 5.5 m (18 ft) setback area on the north side suggests itself as the driveway/parking area. Also, no one wants a north-facing garden.
We all want sunlight somehow, but with further construction progress on other houses (marked in red) and the low sun angle, hardly any sun reaches the southern area.
The separate apartment really only needs a sunny terrace (because mowing the lawn will get harder with age).

I’ve simply added the architect’s two drafts here.

The house width from east to west is approximately 14.50 meters (47.6 feet).
The total length from north to south is 14.10 meters (46.3 feet).
The upper floor’s short side is about 8.55 meters (28.1 feet).

The dimensions in the screenshots are generated automatically by the software. However, note that exterior walls are 35 cm (14 inches) thick and interior walls are 10 cm (4 inches). Realistically, if you use 12 cm (5 inches) for interior walls, you lose some room size. I have already adjusted some walls that are load-bearing.

Hello @ypg, I preferred the design. I had furnished it at one point.

Yes, that one is also interesting and feasible.
I just followed the idea from #55 and wanted to present this orientation of the residential units clearly.

Here is the upper floor plan so the staircase works. Then the staircase on the ground floor needs to be attached to the wall.

These are 7.8 * 11 m (26 feet * 36 feet) if I measured correctly from the plan.

And that is currently causing me a real problem on the ground floor.

I have to admit that, due to capacity reasons, I overwrote the file. I can only handle 15 projects at a time, and I’m basically maxed out. Now nothing fits anymore, because I moved the guest apartment’s bathroom forward. Today is just one of those days where nothing works out 🙁
