Hello everyone,
is it possible to install a 20cm (8 inches) drawer from Maximera at the top inside an 80cm (31.5 inches) wall cabinet (side cabinet) from Metod, and then have a 60cm (24 inches) door underneath?
The Metod kitchen planner does not allow this option. However, I am happy to assemble it myself on site.
It is intended to be a sideboard.

That works. We did that on the back side of the kitchen island.

This is basically a base cabinet with reduced depth. If you search for "Metod base cabinets" on the Ikea website and then filter the depth to 37 cm (15 inches), you will see the appropriate examples.

Here is a proof photo as well. My wife has forbidden me from photographing the inside of the cupboard.
White kitchen base cabinet with wooden countertop, one upper drawer and two doors, black handles.

I would prefer the wall cabinet because it has a top panel. Base cabinets only have rails.

What surface do you have? Is that the Veddinge?
