ᐅ Renovating a Swedish Prefabricated House

we built a Swedish prefabricated house, Landskrona 180 r, in 1972. Now we want to renovate it. There are literally thousands of questions on our minds, and maybe one or more of you can help, offer tips or advice.

I just came across this topic now. GmI also have a Landkrona and have renovated it. How far along are you with the renovation?

Unfortunately, due to various circumstances, we haven’t made much progress yet. The house is now cleared out, and we are starting to demolish all the walls that need to be removed, as well as open up the remaining walls. The floor will be removed over the next few weeks. I’m curious to see what we’ll find behind the walls and under the floor.

I plan to install underfloor heating and real hardwood flooring. Has anyone here done something similar?
