ᐅ Is the exterior wall of an existing building constructed correctly?

I’d like to get your opinion on the exterior wall of a house I’m planning to visit. I’m not very confident in assessing it myself, but maybe you can spot something in the photo that I’m missing.

It seems that insulation was added afterwards and then plastered. Due to the lack of an eave, it gets dirty — this is normal. The corner towards the front was done poorly.

Is there space for another house? This could be important for you or a neighboring property, for garden access or a construction site at the "quiet house."

Since I am a complete layperson, I appreciate any feedback. I don’t have a specific question because I don’t know what to ask. To me, the entire wall looks rather poorly done, and I wonder what potential risks might arise from this.
You say the corner was worked on sloppily. Should this be considered merely a cosmetic issue, or could it actually be a defect that causes the wall to get damp, for example?

The house was built in 2003. The earliest historical images from Google Earth are from 2009, and the construction gap was already present then. I will likely get more details from the owner on Saturday.

Nevertheless, there must have been a mid-terrace house here before.

The building gap measures about 6 meters (20 feet).

I don’t know if or when anything will be built here again, but your point is absolutely valid.

The insulation was probably installed for this reason—a cold exterior wall where there used to be an "interior wall" shared with the neighboring house.
If the gap in the building line is going to be filled, you might have to remove the insulation yourself.
