House Design
Origin of the design: by me, before meeting with architect
What do you particularly like? Why?
What do you dislike? Why?
Price estimate according to architect/planner:
I expect 3000 to 3100 EUR / m² (279 to 289 USD / sq ft)
Personal price limit for the house, including equipment: 900,000 EUR plus garage
Preferred heating technology: heat pump with horizontal trench collector

Why is the design the way it is now? e.g.:
We have now drawn several floor plans. All our ideas and priorities have been included. We would like your opinions on where you see potential for improvement. The building’s layout is very important to us. We deliberately avoid dormers, bay windows, etc.

Attached you will find the floor plan and site plan. (The house is to be built parallel and as close as possible to the street)
The difference between two contour lines is 1m (3.3 feet).
The arrangement of the rooms is intentionally chosen. Please do not discuss that the children’s rooms are on the north side.
Currently undeveloped, entirely meadow.

We would greatly appreciate your feedback and even more your suggestions for improvements.

On one hand, it would likely be helpful for others if you could mark the house along with the ancillary buildings on the site plan.

On the other hand:

How do “no discussions” fit together with “suggestions for improvement”? Please watch your choice of words: most people here have more experience than you.

If the orientation of the children's rooms is your only criticism, I’m glad.
And yes, you are right, we are not architects. However, we have ideas and would like to benefit from your experience.

In my original post, I only described it. Attached you will find a picture showing how I would position the building.
Thank you for the suggestion:

Site plan: 11×11 m building, curved area, distances 4–20 m, measurement lines and arrows.

I don’t understand the staircase... how can the staircase exit on the upper floor be arranged with this stair layout?

It’s supposed to be a quarter-turn staircase with two equal flights.

Probably not. But it’s also about a tone used with children, not appropriate in a forum with adults.

That’s why I asked for the site plan: are you basically placing the house in mid-air?!
I strongly advise you to stop dealing with naive, amateur ideas and consult an architect experienced with hillside sites.

Who created the design: me, before consulting an architect

Who is that? Why doesn’t he design according to your room requirements?
