we are currently planning roof windows. Below you will find the attic floor plan, where the windows have been placed provisionally:
As you can see, there are also windows on the gable side. The roof space will be used as a studio and has no other interior walls.
Are 6 roof windows too many? Maybe you have some experience with this.

That confused me a bit as well. But it is probably meant to show the height of the bottom edge of the roof windows.

My roofer said he would leave it at 6 windows. You can always darken the room later if needed.

hanghaus20239 Nov 2023 12:32Installing six windows just for the sake of it doesn’t make sense. The actual usage will show that they are positioned in the wrong places.
