Hello,
I am currently considering creating a driveway in the garden; at the moment, there is a wall.
The height difference is about 1.80m (5 ft 11 in) ± up to the front door.
I have created two diagrams to illustrate this a bit.
At first, I actually thought it would be possible to do everything manually, but I believe that won’t work out.
What kind of companies handle projects like a driveway or slope without paving?

The basement has a ceiling height of about 2m (6.6 feet), and the basement floor is approximately at the same level as the street.
At an angle of 12°, this corresponds to a slope of about 20–21.5%.

For example, the current Golf 8 Variant has a rear approach angle of about 12 degrees. So if it’s fully fueled and you have three crates of water in the trunk, you’ll end up scraping the rear bumper on the driveway. If the slope levels out at the top, you risk damaging the undercarriage—the ramp angle is only about 10 degrees.
The ramp angle for a C-Class wagon is around 8.9 degrees; its departure angle is still sufficient.
This is the case with many cars. Not to mention the challenges of using it in freezing conditions—whether by car or on foot.
But to answer the question: any professional landscaper can handle this.

xMisterDx6 Nov 2023 23:52The curb weight of a vehicle is determined with a 90% full fuel tank, all other fluids at 100% capacity, and a 75kg (165 lbs) driver. Still, it’s nonsense. Just drive onto the property and build a staircase to the front door.
