2000youandme7 Sep 2023 22:00Is the
touch panel:
Busch-Jaeger Busch-Welcome indoor station M22381-W-03
compatible with the
video door intercom system:
BUSCH-JAEGER outdoor station A21381P1-S-03?
And is it possible to integrate other components, such as roller shutters, using Shelly and Wi-Fi into the M22381-W-03 touch panel for control?
Thank you very much for your help!
Best regards,

More like a different question. Do you always have to install the latest developments and every new gadget in your house? Or is simple, solid, and proven technology enough?
I’m asking because a few days ago there was a lot of complaining about how expensive the repair of a Velux module is, with technology installed that only a VELUX technician can fix—and they charge 95 euros per hour.
There’s nothing wrong with having a video intercom system at the front door. But I still use a conventional key for that. I wouldn’t want an electronic lock with fingerprint and code. Nor would I want Wi-Fi–controlled devices. What will happen in 10 years if there are different standards or completely new technologies?
In my view, this is all just a way to make money. It probably goes right over my head, and the only touch I use is the light switch.
