For the workshop in the basement (with underfloor heating), I am looking for tiles. What should I pay attention to? Which tiles have you had good experiences with? What tile size and pattern did you choose? So many questions...

No, the work will involve wood, metal, and various tools. What types of flooring do you have in your workshop, if you have one?

I actually have "just" a coating with a type of resin.

It's not that there aren't tiles suitable for workshops or that I am against them; it's just that these are not the kind you find during a tile selection at the tile store. Just try searching for "workshop tile." Also, keep the grout in mind – if oil or cleaning products spill, they soak in quickly – this has happened to me more than once in the old basement.

That’s a very good tip. What kind of resin material is that? Did you pour it directly onto the screed?

It is an epoxy resin floor. Google can help with that. A painter friend did it, so I can’t say exactly what to watch out for. But I think with the right tools you can manage it yourself.

Wouldn't concrete paint, which is used in boiler rooms, be sufficient for that?

Yes, that would have been my option too. I just got the resin at a very good price.
