I am currently considering whether to build a garage flush with the house or set it back towards the garden. Building it flush would create a more compact structure and allow for more space in the "small" garden. Setting it back towards the garden would provide more privacy on the terrace but reduce the garden area somewhat.
Are there any general opinions on this?

A fundamental answer, phrased in the style of your question: “Should questions be asked academically and in fragments, or clearly and with background information?” Even 11ant users don’t always have the time or willingness to sift through questioners’ thread histories for essential basics on some days.https://www.instagram.com/11antgmxde/

The idea now was either to create privacy from the northern plots by setting the building back, or to have the garage and house aligned flush, which would be visually more appealing for the entire structure, at least in my opinion.
