Hello,
I am also considering installing a wallbox in the garage for the new build.
What additional costs have you encountered for this extra connection?
The garage is located right next to the utility room.
Thanks, Tom

A hole through the wall, an empty conduit including seals, 1 network cable, 1 control cable, 5 power cables of 10mm2 each – then connecting to the distribution board, etc.

I cannot say anything about the price – it was included for us.

How much does a house cost? It can vary from low to high.

Sorry, but a bit more effort in asking questions would help to provide more concrete answers.

The components are:
- the wallbox itself (a few hundred euros up to several thousand if it is integrated, for example, with a photovoltaic system)
- the wiring itself (see sysrun80) – appropriate connection options in the main distribution panel are assumed
- connection and commissioning

A larger utility connection may also be necessary or advisable.

And a note: It is also possible to have just the cable installed in the garage initially. The price for this will be set by the electrician anyway, so a comparison price is only of limited use.

For a 22kW wallbox (which is hardly ever approved by a utility company nowadays), 6mm² (10 AWG) cable is sufficient.
