ᐅ Is It Advisable to Reposition a Heat Pump, or Is It Unnecessary?

getenixHello forum,
Our heat pump needs to be reconnected. Therefore, we now have the opportunity to reposition the outdoor unit (Nibe F2040-8) more or less cost-neutral.
The reason is the disturbing noise from the outdoor unit in the bedroom.
I have attached four images:
Current situation:
- Yellow: bedroom
- Red: front door
- Black: driveway
The image with the red circle shows the current position of the heat pump, with the red X the alternative position.
A carport is also planned as shown in the planning image.
Unfortunately, the other points are more or less fixed. To be frank, the planning at this spot was poor, but it was well sold.
Nibe itself advises against installation on walls adjacent to bedrooms. I am aware of that now. That’s why the idea to move it. But before we start anything, I would like to ask if there is anything else to consider.
Thanks for any tips.

Do beginners generally not look at the "new posts" page?

Do newbies generally not check the "new posts" page at all? Hello, I have read the thread twice now and honestly, I didn’t really understand it.
My concern is about noise levels in our own bedroom, especially since we are planning to build a carport above it. I have tried searching through all the topics with somewhat relevant titles but couldn’t find anything. Maybe someone here has some expertise.

Does it cause inconvenience in the passageway? How is the surrounding area otherwise?
Why does it need to be reconnected at all?

In terms of space, it’s true that the outdoor unit is just as much of a nuisance in both positions as any outdoor unit would be. But it has to be placed somewhere. We can live with that.
The heat pump wasn’t connected properly (probably some component was in contact with the masonry). A new core drilling is planned, and all the lines will be replaced. Since the carport is also going to be built now, new foundations can be installed quickly as well. So we are now considering relocating the outdoor unit.
On the other side is the front door and the guest toilet. Noise disturbance in the toilet is negligible.
At the moment, the problem is that the outdoor unit is disturbing in the bedroom. We would shield it somewhat with the carport, but I also don’t want to build a “trumpet” (big protruding structure). If we relocate the outdoor unit, it would stand on the wall by the front door.
My question is: Should we leave the heat pump where it is and build the carport over it, or move it to the eaves side? On the eaves side, the outdoor unit would be about twice as far from fences and such, but the ground slopes upward there. I hope you can see this in the pictures.
Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not want to give any advice on the optimal location. So my question is whether anyone here has experience with something like this or can at least share their insights. I couldn’t find anything comparable through searching.
