ᐅ dark gray windows on the interior (basalt gray RAL 7012)

Hello everyone,

Does anyone here have dark gray windows on the interior, as mentioned above – a photo would be great.

I want basalt gray (RAL 7012) windows and am unsure which color to choose for the window handles, roller shutter winder, and roller shutter strap.

Can someone help me decide?

By "interior side," you probably mean the room side of windows that are typically installed in exterior walls (?).
I would never think of choosing fittings in a different color than the windows themselves. I still know mechanical strap winders, but I'm already in my mid-fifties ;-)

Most definitely the window manufacturer, who usually cannot supply fittings in every color. And just like that, the range of options will already be narrowed down.

Definitely the window manufacturer, who can’t supply hardware in every color. And just like that, the range of choices is already reduced ;-)

Hardware has to be in a different color since there is none available in basalt gray. By interior area, I naturally meant the inside surface of the window.
That’s exactly why I’m hoping to get a response from someone who also has dark gray interior window frames.

We have planned DB703 for both the interior and exterior but it has not been delivered yet. Our window manufacturer recommended a stainless steel color, which generally works well (even with white).

Think carefully about whether you really want a belt winder; simple tubular motors are not expensive and significantly improve comfort 😉 You can start with just a button/switch and upgrade to smart controls later if needed 🙂

or you can choose a different color inside (for which matching fittings are available) than outside. The combination "inside 7016 with fittings in 7016 / outside 7012" would probably feel like a more pleasant contrast than "inside and outside 7012, but fittings in 7016."

We had black wooden windows with stainless steel-look handles and fittings, which are quite common.
